The Two Great Omissions

Once again, Mister Lippi has omitted two big names:

SOCCER 2009 - Juventus Players at Training

Alessandro Del Piero and Antonio Cassano

Sports News - October 07, 2008

It appears that the stellar international career of Del Piero has come to an abrupt halt.

As for Cassano, the jewel of Bari Vecchia, it seems that only an act of God could restore him to good graces of Mister Lippi. Which is a shame, since in my opinion, he is the most talented and creative player in Italy. But Mister Lippi has won the World Cup, and we must respect his expertise to nurture a team to defend the title in South Africa next year.
