Gigi Buffon: Video Interview by SoccerNews

Gianluigi "Gigi" Buffon, the goalkeeper and likely captain (in the absence of Fabio Cannavaro) of the Azzurri at Euro 2008, gave an interesting interview to an associate of Soccerlens, SoccerNews.com.

The interview was done in Italian; however, English subtitles are present, along with Spanish and English text.
Cuáles son las virtudes de tu seleccionado?

What are the virtues of your team?

"Digamos que una de las cosas más fuertes que tenemos son los jugadores de óptima calidad, de buena calidad que tenemos, pero lo que no tenemos que dilapidar es la fuerza que tenemos como grupo…..somos luchadores y ganadores…esas creo son las virtudes de Italia."

"Let’s say that one of the strongest points we have is the great players with quality, but also we are strong as a group. We are fighters and looking for being winners… I think that these are our virtues."

Gigi was born in Carrara, Italy, which was the place in Tuscany where Michelangelo quarried marble for his masterpieces.
