Alive and Kicking UK: Creating Hope One Ball at a Time

Alive and Kicking UK is a humanitarian initiative that produces footballs, netballs, and volleyballs in Kenya, South Africa, and Zambia for distribution to children on the African continent.

This new project addresses three key needs:

Producing balls for children and parents who would otherwise not be able to afford them, providing jobs for the intricate task of making the balls, along with important health awareness messages.
"Alive & Kicking is a UK registered charity that makes cheap, tough, repairable footballs, netballs and volleyballs using African skills and African leather. Each carries a message about HIV/AIDS, malaria or TB. We employ over 150 Stitchers across three countries and have produced over 200,000 balls which have been donated to children across Africa."
