Sunday, 16 December

Atalanta 1 x Palermo 3. This was a strange game with 2 own goals. Amauri of Palermo had a goal for each team! It was the first victory in over 50 years for the Sicilians in Bergamo. Goals by Cavani, Langella (autogol), Amauri, and Amauri (autogol).

Parma 3 x Reggina 0. Corradi, Pisanu, and Paci scored as Parma won a potential relegation derby with the Calabrians.

Sampdoria 2 x Fiorentina 2. Gastadello and Cassano scored for Samp. Mutu and and Donadel for La Viola. Due to a yellow card, Cassano will be suspended for the next game with AS Roma. Apparently, according to game reports, Antonio burst into tears on the pitch after the decision.

Siena 1 x Napoli 1. Frick scored for the Tuscans, and was equalized a minute later by Bogliacino for the Neapolitans.

Torino 0 x AS Roma 0.

Cagliari 0 x Internazionale 2. Julio Cruz and former Cagliari star David Suazo netted for Inter as they continue to dominate Serie A.

(AC Milan x Livorno will take place on 13 February 2008).
