2007 FIFA Club World Cup: AC Milan 4 x Boca Juniors 2

In front of an appreciative crowd in Yokohama, AC Milan made history.
This was Milan's fourth Intercontinental Cup victory, and their first since 1990.With this victory, AC Milan becomes the most successful club side in World Football with 18 international trophies. Boca had 17.
Pippo Inzaghi had a brace, and the other two Rossoneri goals were scored by Alessandro Nesta and Ricardo Kaka'. The Boca goals were scored by Rodrigo Palacio, along with an own goal credited to Max Ambrosini of AC Milan.

Congratulations to Milan, Carlo Ancelotti, and Mr. Berlusconi.

After the game, Paolo Maldini announced that he would retire next June from professional football. He has played 23 years at Milan, and today was his 4th win at this tournament, which is a record.
