Long Island Youth Star Marcello Zuccara goes to Palermo Primavera

In another positive development for American youth soccer, Glen Cove High School (Long Island, New York) player Marcello Zuccara has accepted a position in the Serie A Palermo youth team. Which is called the Primavera team, and competes against their counterparts at AC Milan, Juventus, and Inter Milan.

"During his four grueling days of trials, Marcello impressed the coaches with his soccer physique and first touch on the ball. He also showed his grinta, which is Italian for toughness. On the last day, the directors of the club informed Marcello and his dad that Marcello had indeed made the squad and should report in late August for pre-season camp."
