FIFA U-20 Final: Argentina 2 x Czech Republic 1

For the sixth time at the youth level, Argentina today won the FIFA Under 20 championship, 2 x 1, over a very good Czech Republic side.

The game was tied at half-time, and in the 60th minute, Martin Fenin put the Czechs ahead. Two minutes later, Sergio Aguero of Atletico Madrid, the leading scorer in this tournament (6 goals), equalized for Argentina. In the 87th minute, due to a goalkeeping error by Radek Petr, Mauro Zarate scored the game winner.

This was a highly entertaining and well-played tournament.

Well done, Argentina, along with the Canadian organizers for a great tournament.
