Thierry Henry: A Touch of Class in a World that needs it

Yesterday, Thierry Henry of France ended a long association with the Arsenal Football Club. He will play next season for FC Barcelona in Spain.

I was struck by the open letter that he made to the British public.

In a world of spoiled super-star athletes, it is extremely rare to see such a humble and heart-felt declaration of gratitude.

"But I will miss the Arsenal fans dearly, they have supported me through thick and thin. They helped me when I was low and lifted me when I was high."
