Goals For Girls

Next June, a team of young women, called the DC Blast, will travel to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. They will be coached by Olympic Gold Medalist and World Cup champion, Tiffany Roberts, and also backed by the U.S. Soccer Foundation. The team will help educate young South African women about HIV and AIDs prevention. Along with soccer training (they do call the sport "soccer" or "football" in South Africa), and life skills.

This Sunday at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Coach Roberts will conduct a clinic for youth soccer players.

South Africa will host the men's 2010 World Cup finals.
