"Milan are scheduled to train at RFK Stadium on Monday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m., but that session is closed to the public. However, on Tuesday May 25 Ronaldinho and company will train on the stadium pitch at 6:00 p.m., with the entire session open to the public. Their last visit to Washington was in 2003 for a friendly with FC Barcelona, but they made an appearance last July in Baltimore for the World Football Challenge against Chelsea FC. In 1993, the Italian Super Cup between Milan and Torino was played at RFK Stadium.

Juventus manager, Alberto Zaccheroni, released his roster for the two-match North American tour against New York Red Bulls and Fiorentina. Juventus faces New York at 1300 on Sunday and La Viola from Toronto on Tuesday. These will be the last two games in charge for Mister Zaccheroni. Gigi Delneri signed a contract a few days ago to become the new Juve boss.

"It was a disappointing night because we lost but returning here is always special," said Becks. "The fans were unbelievable.

"I have to say thank you to all of them because they were incredible. It was nice to be back.

"It's always like that when you don't start games. You always want to play. But we're a team and, as I've said many times before, we win together and lose together.

Beckham picked up an anti-Glazer green and gold scarf from the Old Trafford turf as he left the pitch, but dismissed the significance of the gesture afterwards.
