Pele' to Attend Copa NYC Final Today

Sorry for late notice but just got word Pele and Mayor Bloomberg will be attending COPA NYC 2010 FINAL today! Pele to deliver a speech at half time and Mayor Bloomberg to award the winner of Copa NYC 2010! Please invite all of your family and friends to be apart of this historic event. Spread the word to make this the best event New York City has seen!

DRIVING
- Park under the Van Wyck Expressway. Use 131-04 Fowler Ave Flushing, NY as an address. Walk south until you see the soccer fields 8 & 9 to the east. They are in between the Van Wyck Expressway and College Point Blvd.

SUBWAY - Take the 7 train to Shea Stadium stop. Walk east and then south to Flushing Meadows park. Then follow Perimeter Road to the east and around the bend. Once you're walking beside Van Wyck Expressway, you will see the soccer fields 8 & 9 on the other side (the east side) of the Van Wyck Expressway.

BUS - Take the Q58 to the corner of College Point Boulevard and Folwer Avenue. Walk north on Fowler Avenue to the front of the recreation center.

Copa NYC is an annual soccer tournament consisting of 16 "National Teams" assembled from a selection of participating communities from the NY area, representing their diverse cultural heritages. Each "Nation" will be represented by a team president, coach, and a roster of 25 players, whose heritage they represent.
