Women's Professional Soccer Announces Players to Tweet From Inaugural Match

WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL SOCCER ANNOUNCES PLAYERS TO TWEET FROM INAUGURAL MATCH

SAN FRANCISCO (March 27) - Women's Professional Soccer announced today that Los Angeles Sol midfielder Aly Wagner and Washington Freedom goalkeeper Kati Jo Spisak will be using Twitter during the WPS Inaugural Match on Sunday, March 29, at the Home Depot Center. Twitter is a micro-blogging service that enables people to send and read others' updates known as tweets. This is the first time two participating players will officially tweet during a major U.S. sporting event.


WPS Commissioner Tonya Antonucci and Los Angeles Sol General Manager Charlie Naimo will also be Tweeting from the match.
