2009 FIFA Club World Cup

Between 11 December and 21 December, the world club championship (formerly known as the Toyota or Intercontinental Cup), will take place in Japan between seven teams.

Six club champions from their respective FIFA Confederations, along with Adelaide United, will compete for US $16.5 million.

This will be the fifth edition of the Club World Cup. The defending champion is AC Milan.
