2008-2009 UEFA Champions League Elimination Round of 16: Serie A vs. EPL

Marco Pantanella at Soccerlens blogged the draw ceremony live. Several of the key fixtures involve English and Italian teams in direct elimination.

The draw between Chelsea and Juventus should be very interesting. Mister Ranieri returns to Stamford Bridge. No doubt the Tinkerman ("I'm just a dead man walking.") will receive a warm welcome from the Blues' supporters.

"The Special One," Mister Mourinho, will return to face one of his former rivals, Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United. The third Italy v. England matchup features the former Arsenal man, Julio Baptista, returning with AS Roma to face the Gunners.
