Sampdoria 3 x Empoli 0. Vincenzo Montella leads Samp to a convincing victory over the Tuscans.
Palermo 2 x Napoli 1. Giovanni Tedesco scored a second half brace for the Sicilians.

Domenica/Sunday, 11 November

Atalanta x AC Milan (Suspended after 10 minutes by the referee due to Ultra behavior).
Fiorentina 1 x Udinese 2. The first loss of the year for La Viola. Udine obtains another impressive away win.
Inter Milan x Lazio. (Postponed due to the death of Lazio supporter, Gabriele Sandri).
Parma 2 x Juventus 2. Vincenzo Iaquinta gets the equalizer for Juve in the 82nd minutes as they battled back from two goals down.
Reggina 2 x Genoa 0. A much needed win for the Calabrians.
Siena 2 x Livorno 3. The Amaranto win their second in a row in a tense Tuscan derby.
Torino 1 x Catania 1. La Granata could not win despite playing with a man advantage for most of the game due to the expulsion of Vargas.

AS Roma x Cagliari was cancelled.
