2007-2008 UEFA Champions League Group Phase Draw

History

The European Cup began in 1955, and the first champion was Real Madrid. Beginning in 1992, the competition was called "UEFA Champions League."

Italian and Spanish teams have won the European Cup/Champions League eleven times. English clubs are right behind with ten victories. Real Madrid has won the combined competition the most times: 9. The current leading all-time goalscorer is Raul of Real Madrid. He has also appeared in the most games in the Champions League.

Fixtures
